About Me
Thomas Haughton serves as the Vice President of My Place Realty (MPR), a Winnipeg-based property management company that provides quality multi-family homes for people and families.
At My Place Realty, Tom works closely with his senior management team to efficiently manage the operations and achieve the company’s vision, while overseeing all aspects of the business from construction, to property management, to finance, and more. He is a strong believer in coaching and actively participates in it each week.
Tom served as President and CEO of Global Drug Supply Group of Companies before leading MPR and was responsible for all aspects of the Barbados company. Tom developed his management team at Global Drug Supply to become self sufficient, so they would continue to be successful upon his departure.
Tom also worked for TD Canada Trust for eleven years, where he was eventually promoted to Regional Support and Training Manager at TD Canada and earned an Award of Excellence from TD Canada Trust for Sales and Service in 2002.
Tom Haughton has worked in a management and supervisory capacity since 1992. He has experience and skills in human resources, clinical operations, coaching and development, customer service, purchasing, data processing, sales, branch development, marketing programs, finance expertise, and in other areas.
When he’s not leading his team at My Place Realty, Tom proudly supports the Winnipeg Humane Society, Lighthouse Mission, Agape Table, the Canadian Cancer Society, as well as other charitable causes. He is an active member of the social committee at St. Theresa Church, and has supported the church in various voluntary capacities for years.
